Because you hide behind an alias I cannot tell what your experiences have been, but I know what my experiences are, and I know what my scholarship is (and sources are carefully cited in every piece I write). I also know my investigations of comparative cultural situations (example: though all children on the island of Ireland learn about the ugly facts that run through their history - be it starvation by the British or terror by the Provos - whether that leads to functioning hatred or police abuse or to an understanding of what a society must do to move forward is - according to my research - dependent on intentional decisions about schools and within schools). I also know - and have documented above - the history of the "thin blue line" narrative and it's racist conceptions over 100 years before any "Black Lives Matter" protest. Finally, I know how intentional the rise of "victim mentality" was in the NYPD, manufactured as it was by Rudy Giuliani so the PBA wouldn't oppose his candidacy - since he'd long prosecuted cops for following orders.
