Get kids thinking about presidential voting…

What if US kids looked at American Presidential Politics through an international lens, seeing these candidates as if they represent different parties in a multiparty democracy?

For example — in New Hampshire we can combine the primaries, because any voter can pick either primary to vote in… and then we saw it this way…

Bernie Sanders - Social Democrats — 151,584 think British Labour Party, German Social Democratic Party (SPD), Canadian Liberal Party, French Socialists.

Donald Trump — Nationalist — 100,406 think French National Front.

Hillary Clinton — Christian Democrats — 95,252 think German Christian Democrats (CDU).

John Kasich — Conservative — 44,909 think Italian Forza Italia, French Gaullists (The Republicans).

Ted Cruz — Religious — 33,189 think Israeli Shas, Austrian Christian Party.

Jeb Bush — Conservative — 31,310 think British Conservative Party, Canadian Conservative Party.

Marco Rubio — Conservative — 30,032 think British Conservative Party, Canadian Conservative Party.

These alignments might be my suggestions, but the goal is for our kids to analyze the candidates and research non-American political parties… and finally, consider how our government might look if we were a multiparty parliamentary democracy.
